This itinerary takes your travellers to some of the highlights of southern Sweden. After starting in the vibrant city of Copenhagen, they can discover the medieval charm of Lund and the naval heritage of Karlskrona. Explore the picturesque landscapes of the southern coastline and island of Öland, and delve into the art of glassblowing in Kosta.

Day 1: Arrival in Copenhagen
Arrival to the Danish capital of Copenhagen, which is a perfect gateway to exploring southern Sweden. Upon arrival, transfer from the airport to a centrally located hotel. Depending on arrival time, your travellers can explore the Danish capital on their own.
Day 2: Copenhagen to Lund
The days starts with a city tour of Copenhagen, where the travellers get to know some of the most important sights of the city, such as the statue of the Little Mermaid, the Gefion Fountain, and the Royal Palace Amalienborg. Afterwards the journey to Sweden starts with a drive across the Öresund Bridge. Continue to the town of Lund, a lively medieval town that is home to the oldest university in Sweden and full of historical charm with cobblestones streets and half-timbered houses. In Lund, the travellers will visit the impressive Romanesque Lund Cathedral.
Day 3: Lund to Karlskrona
Travel to the south coast of Sweden to the picturesque town of Ystad, where Inspector Wallander known from the world-famous novels by Henning Mankell solved exciting criminal cases. After a short detour to charming small coastal time of Simrishamn, drive through the Österlen region to Karlskrona.
Day 4: Karlskrona
In the morning, experience the sights of the historic naval city Karlskrona on a city tour. Among other things, admire the city's harbour, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, the travellers can enjoy a boat trip to the eastern archipelago off Torhamn.
Day 5: Karlskrona to Kalmar
Today there will be an excursion to the island Öland, just off the coast of Sweden. Öland is known as “the Island of Sun and Winds”, and due to this it might not come as a surprise that it is a popular summer destination for Swedes or that it is doted with historical windmills. After a tour around the island, where travellers can experience the unique landscapes with exposed limestone, breaches and expansive open heaths known as 'alvars’, return over the Öland Bridge to Kalmar on the mainland.
Day 6: Kalmar to Copenhagen
Continue west to the area known as “The Kingdom of Crystal” due to its long history of producing quality glass. In Kosta, the group will visit the Kosta Glassworks where they can marvel at one how the glassblowers turn the glowing hot glass mass to crystal art. Afterwards, there will be a visit to the Grönåsen Moose Park, where the king of the Swedish forest can be observed up-close. In the afternoon, it is time to return to Copenhagen.
Day 7: Departure from Copenhagen
Depending on departure time, the travellers might have time to explore Copenhagen some more before a transfer takes them to the airport for their homeward journey.
