Resplan
Day 1: Arrival in Bergen
Arrival in Bergen, Norway’s second-largest city, uniquely situated between seven mountains and seven fjords. Two nights of accommodation are arranged at a centrally located hotel.
Day 2: Bergen
Day at leisure in Bergen, known as the Gateway to the Fjords. A visit to the historic Fish Market is recommended, where fresh seafood, berries, and local produce have been traded since the 1200s. In the evening, a boat transfer from the Bryggen Wharf leads to Cornelius, one of Scandinavia’s most renowned seafood restaurants. A Meteorological Menu will be served, inspired by the day’s weather and the surrounding fjord landscape, prepared using innovative culinary techniques.
Day 3: Bergen – Flåm
Travel by express boat through the Sognefjord to the fjord village of Flåm. In the afternoon, a RIB boat safari offers breathtaking views of the Aurlandsfjord and UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord. The tour includes a visit to the village of Undredal for a private tasting of award-winning local goat cheese. In the evening, dinner is served at Ægir BrewPub, featuring the Ægir Viking Plank—a five-course food and beer pairing inspired by the Viking era. One night of accommodation is arranged in a hotel in the village.
Day 4: Flåm – Oslo
Board the scenic Flåm Railway, which ascends through dramatic mountain terrain to Myrdal. From there, continue on the Bergen Railway to Oslo. Travel time is approximately five hours. Two nights of accommodation are provided in the city centre.
Day 5: Oslo
Day at leisure in Oslo. The Norwegian capital, beautifully located at the head of the Oslofjord, offers a wide range of cultural sights such as the Opera House, Vigeland Sculpture Park, and the Munch Museum. A street food tour is recommended for those wishing to explore the city’s culinary side. In the evening, a tasting menu is served at Katla Restaurant, where Nordic ingredients are combined with Asian and Latin American influences in an open kitchen setting.
Day 6: Oslo – Stockholm
Travel by train from Oslo to Stockholm. The Swedish capital is built across 14 islands and is surrounded by water. Sights of interest include the Vasa Museum, Skansen Open Air Museum, City Hall, and the Old Town (Gamla Stan). Two nights of accommodation are arranged in the city centre.
Day 7: Stockholm
A guided food walk introduces guests to Swedish cuisine through tastings at specially selected venues. The tour also offers cultural and historical context about Stockholm’s food scene.
Day 8: Stockholm – Copenhagen
Departure by train to Copenhagen. The Danish capital offers over 1,000 years of history, visible in its medieval streets, canals, and historic architecture. Two nights of accommodation are provided in a centrally located hotel.
Day 9: Copenhagen
Day at leisure. A walking tour focused on the Danish concept of Hygge is recommended. In the evening, a gourmet walking tour introduces the city’s culinary scene.
