Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
Arrival in Oslo according to individual travel plans. The capital is beautifully located at the head of the Oslofjord, surrounded by wooded hills and water. Accommodation in a centrally located 3-star hotel in Oslo.
Day 2: Oslo – Balestrand
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart by train on the Bergen Railway to Myrdal. Continue on the scenic Flåm Railway, descending from the mountains to the fjord village of Flåm. From here, a boat journey takes you along the Sognefjord – the world’s longest and deepest fjord – to the picturesque village of Balestrand. Accommodation in a centrally located 4-star hotel in Balestrand.
Day 3: Fjærland Glacier Excursion
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s excursion includes a boat ride on the beautiful Fjærlandsfjord followed by visits to two of the Jostedal Glacier’s most accessible arms: Supphellebreen and Bøyabreen. Return to Balestrand in the afternoon. Accommodation in a centrally located 4-star hotel in Balestrand.
Day 4: Balestrand – Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue by boat along the Sognefjord and Norway’s rugged west coast to Bergen – Norway’s second-largest city and the gateway to the fjords. Accommodation in a centrally located 3-star hotel in Bergen.
Day 5: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure in Bergen. Explore the UNESCO-listed Bryggen wharf, take the Fløibanen funicular for panoramic views, or stroll through the lively fish market. Accommodation in a centrally located 3-star hotel in Bergen.
Day 6: Bergen – Ulvik
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel by bus to Norheimsund and continue by ferry along the beautiful Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. From there, continue by ferry to the peaceful village of Ulvik. Accommodation in a centrally located 4-star hotel in Ulvik.
Day 7: Ulvik – Voss – Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the morning at leisure in Ulvik before boarding the afternoon bus to Voss, passing fertile farmland and scenic valleys. From Voss, continue on the Bergen Railway to Oslo with an evening arrival. Accommodation in a centrally located 3-star hotel in Oslo.
