This tour leads through forests of Sweden, along diverse coastlines, through Norwegian mountain landscapes and the vast landscapes of the north under the never-ending light of the Arctic summer. En route, it includes visits to Scandinavian capitals Stockholm and Oslo, as well as historical sites like the rock carvings of Alta and majestic Nidaros Cathedral. Though the highlight of the tour, located far above the Arctic Circle, on a 307-metre-high cliff, is of course North Cape, the northernmost tip of Europe.

Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm
Flight to Stockholm. Depending on arrival time, the travellers can explore the sights of the Swedish capital.
Day 2: Stockholm to Sundsvall
The day start with a guided city tour to the most important sights of Stockholm, including a walk through the narrow streets lined with colourful houses in the Old Town. Afterwards the journey north starts, passing the university city Uppsala, towards Sundsvall.
Day 3: Sundsvall to Luleå
Today the travellers will drive along the most beautiful part of Sweden’s coast – the High Coast. It is part of the Gulf of Bothnia and characterized by its steep granite cliffs and rocky islands rising from the sea. Passing Umeå and Skellefteå, the day ends in Luleå.
Day 4: Luleå to Saariselkä
Today the route continues across the border into Finland. At Rovaniemi the travellers reach the Arctic Circle and can visit the home of Santa Claus, before continuing to Saariselkä.
Day 5: Saariselkä to Honningsvåg
The journey continues to Karasjok before arriving in Honningsvåg. In the evening, the travellers will visit the northernmost point of mainland Europe: the North Cape. Here they can enjoy the amenities of the North Cape Hall as well as the iconic views with the globe monument and the Arctic Sea under the Midnight Sun (May to August).
Day 6: North Cape to Alta
The destination today is Alta. In the afternoon, visit to the Alta Museum. Here the travellers experience the between two- and six thousand years old rock carvings, which is the largest rock carving site in Northern Europe and inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Day 7: Alta to Tromsø
From Alta, the journey continues towards Tromsø. Tromsø is the biggest town north of the Arctic Circle and is home to the northernmost university, brewery and cathedral in the world. One of the most distinctive sights in the city is the fantastic Arctic Cathedral.
Day 8: Tromsø to Leknes
Today the journey continues towards the Lofoten archipelago. The Lofoten are big, untouched rural areas, mountains and pointed peaks, open sea and protected bays and beaches.
Day 9: Leknes to Mo i Rana
The day starts with a drive to Moskenes on the far end of Lofoten, where your travellers take the ferry to Bodø. From there continue the drive past a charming coastal landscape down to Rognan, and then over the Saltfjellet mountains to Mo i Rana.
Day 10: Mo i Rana to Trondheim
From Mo i Rana, continue to Trondheim, the original capital of Norway and nowadays the third biggest city of the country after Oslo and Bergen.
Day 11: Trondheim to Lillehammer
The day starts with a visit to the impressive Nidaros Cathedral located in the heart of Trondheim’s old town. The cathedral was constructed over 450 years involving many generations of workers and is an ornate Gothic masterpiece. Afterwards continue south towards Lillehammer.
Day 12: Lillehammer to Oslo
The drive today leads the group from the Olympic town Lillehammer to Oslo, passing the Mjøsa Lake. In the afternoon, there will be a guided tour to explore the most important sights of the Norwegian capital.
Day 13: Departure from Oslo
A transfer will bring the group to the airport to start their homeward journey.
