Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm
Arrival in Stockholm will take place according to your own arrangements. A local transfer will be provided from the airport to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day will be kept at leisure for individual exploration. Overnight in Stockholm.
Day 2: Sightseeing & Concert
After breakfast, the Old Town of Stockholm will be explored on foot during a guided walking tour. The narrow cobbled streets of Gamla Stan will be followed past historic buildings including the Cathedral “Storkyrkan”, the main square, and the Royal Palace. A ferry will then be taken to Djurgården Island, where the famous Vasa Museum will be visited. Here, the well-preserved 17th-century warship “Vasa” will be admired and its remarkable history discovered. In the afternoon, a classical concert will be enjoyed in Storkyrkan Cathedral to mark the final day of the year. Time will then be given to prepare for the evening’s celebrations. Overnight in Stockholm.
Day 3: Excursion to Drottningholm
Following breakfast, a half-day excursion will be made to Drottningholm Palace. The palace, which still serves as a royal residence, will be visited with a guided tour through its public rooms. The surrounding baroque gardens and castle church will also be seen. The remainder of the day will be kept at leisure. Overnight in Stockholm.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, a transfer will be provided to the airport. Departure will take place according to your own arrangements.
