Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
Arrival in Oslo according to your own itinerary. A local guide and transfer will provide an introduction to the capital city. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Oslo.
Day 2: Oslo – Flåm
Breakfast at the hotel. Today the railway journey begins with a scenic ride on the Bergen Railway from Oslo to Myrdal. At Myrdal, the journey continues on the Flåm Railway, known as one of the most spectacular train rides in the world. Arrival in the fjord village of Flåm in the afternoon. Overnight in a hotel in Flåm.
Day 3: Flåm – Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. A fjord cruise from Flåm to Gudvangen provides the opportunity to admire the dramatic landscapes of the Nærøyfjord. From Gudvangen, travel by bus to Voss and onward to Bergen. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Bergen.
Day 4: Bergen
Breakfast at the hotel. A guided tour will present the highlights of Bergen, including the Hanseatic Bryggen harbour and Fløibanen Funicular. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Bergen.
Day 5: Bergen – Ålesund
Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s route continues north through the dramatic landscapes of Fjord Norway. Arrival in Ålesund in the late afternoon. The city is known for its Art Nouveau architecture and coastal setting. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Ålesund.
Day 6: Geiranger Excursion
Breakfast at the hotel. A scenic bus journey takes you to the village of Geiranger, located at the head of the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord. A fjord cruise provides views of the steep cliffs and waterfalls before returning to Ålesund in the evening. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Ålesund.
Day 7: Ålesund – Åndalsnes – Trondheim
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel by bus to Åndalsnes, where the journey continues by train through the Rauma Valley to Dombås, and onward to Trondheim. This railway section is known for its impressive scenery and dramatic mountain views. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Trondheim.
Day 8: Trondheim
Breakfast at the hotel. A guided city tour introduces the highlights of Trondheim, including Nidaros Cathedral. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Trondheim.
Day 9: Trondheim – Oslo
Breakfast at the hotel. A full-day train journey on the Dovre Railway brings you back to Oslo. The route crosses the Dovrefjell mountain plateau and the Gudbrandsdalen valley. Upon arrival in Oslo, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in a centrally located hotel in Oslo.
Day 10: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Oslo according to your own arrangements.
