Rovaniemi Retreat

Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi
Upon arrival at Rovaniemi Airport (own arrangement), a transfer will be provided to Hotel Metsähirvas. Accommodation will be arranged for four nights, including daily breakfast and a three-course dinner. The evening is at leisure to settle in and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 2: Santa Claus Village
Following breakfast, a transfer will be arranged to Santa Claus Village, located directly on the Arctic Circle. Time will be allocated for personal exploration. Optional excursions such as entry to Snowman World or the Glass Resort experience may be arranged during the winter season. The remainder of the day is free before returning to Hotel Metsähirvas for dinner.

Day 3: Snowmobile Safari & Northern Lights Experience
A 30-kilometre snowmobile safari will take guests through the pristine wilderness surrounding Rovaniemi. No previous experience is required, and equipment will be provided. In the evening, a guided Northern Lights excursion will take place at a lakeside and river location. Traditional snacks and warm drinks will be served around an open fire while awaiting a potential Aurora display.

Day 4: Husky Experience
Today’s programme offers an authentic encounter with the beloved huskies of the north. In autumn, a forest carriage ride will be arranged. In winter, a mushing experience will allow guests to guide their own team of dogs through the snowy landscape. Local treats and stories will be shared around the fire, adding cultural insight to the adventure.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, a return transfer to Rovaniemi Airport will be arranged in accordance with your departure time.
