Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm
Arrival in Stockholm, Sweden’s stylish capital. Explore cobbled alleys, royal landmarks, and charming waterfronts at your own pace. The city is known for its rich history and stunning architecture. Overnight stay in Stockholm.
Day 2: Stockholm to Kiruna
After breakfast, enjoy the day exploring more of Stockholm. In the evening, board the overnight train to Kiruna in a private compartment. The journey north takes travellers deep into Swedish Lapland. Overnight on the train from Stockholm to Kiruna.
Day 3: Kiruna & Icehotel
Arrival in Kiruna in the morning and transfer to the world-famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi. Spend the day at leisure in this surreal, frozen masterpiece. In the evening, sleep in a cold room carved entirely of ice, complete with reindeer skins and thermal sleeping bags. Overnight in a cold room at the Icehotel.
Day 4: Icehotel
Wake up to a warm drink and enjoy breakfast at the Icehotel. The rest of the day is free for optional winter activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling, or ice sculpting. Tonight, unwind in a warm hotel room. Overnight in a warm room at the Icehotel.
Day 5: Kiruna to Abisko
After breakfast, transfer to the station and travel by train to Abisko, located in the heart of Abisko National Park. This remote destination is renowned for its untouched landscapes and frequent displays of the Northern Lights. Overnight stay in Abisko.
Day 6: Abisko & Aurora Dinner
Breakfast is served at the hotel. An optional snowshoe excursion is available, including a Swedish fika in the wilderness. In the evening, take the chairlift up to the Aurora Sky Station for a four-course Nordic-inspired dinner and a chance to view the Northern Lights. Overnight stay in Abisko.
Day 7: Abisko to Narvik
After breakfast, board the train to Narvik, a scenic Norwegian town surrounded by dramatic fjords and snow-covered mountains. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Narvik.
Day 8: Narvik to Tromsø
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Take the cable car for a stunning view of Narvik, the fjords, and surrounding peaks. In the afternoon, travel by coach to Tromsø, located above the Arctic Circle. Overnight stay in Tromsø.
Day 9: Tromsø
Start the day with breakfast before heading up Tromsø’s cable car for panoramic views over the city, fjords, and mountains. As one of the top locations to view the Northern Lights, Tromsø offers a magical Arctic finale to your journey. Overnight stay in Tromsø.
Day 10: Departure from Tromsø
After breakfast, depart according to individual travel plans. Take home memories of snow-draped landscapes, cosy Arctic nights, and magical Northern skies.
