Day 1: Arrival in Iceland
Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport (own arrangements), a transfer will be provided to Reykjavík. If time permits, a stroll through the capital’s charming streets, cafés, and museums may be enjoyed at leisure. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 2: Golden Circle & Northern Lights
Today, a full-day excursion along the iconic Golden Circle route will be conducted. The journey begins with a visit to Þingvellir National Park, where the continental plates of Europe and North America are visibly drifting apart. The area holds historical significance as the site of Iceland’s first parliament. The tour continues to the geothermal area of Geysir, where Strokkur erupts every few minutes, reaching heights of up to 20 metres. Finally, Gullfoss waterfall—one of Iceland’s most famous natural landmarks—will be viewed in all its wintry splendour. In the evening, a guided Northern Lights hunt will take place. Although sightings cannot be guaranteed, the guide will bring participants to locations offering the best possible conditions. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 3: South Coast Discovery
A full-day tour along Iceland’s South Coast will be undertaken. Waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, and coastal cliffs will form the dramatic backdrop of the day. Stops will be made at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where it is possible to walk behind the cascading water, and Skógafoss, a waterfall known for its sheer drop and impressive spray. The tour continues to the charming village of Vík í Mýrdal, framed by sea stacks and bird cliffs. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 4: Blue Lagoon
A morning transfer will take participants to the Blue Lagoon, Iceland’s world-renowned geothermal spa. Surrounded by lava fields, the milky-blue water offers both relaxation and a sense of otherworldly tranquillity. Entrance is included. The remainder of the day may be spent at leisure in Reykjavík. Overnight in Reykjavík.
Day 5: Departure
A transfer to Keflavík International Airport will be arranged for the return journey home.
