On this tour, your clients will experience a unique city tour, starting with a visit to the Greenland National Museum. Here, they will have the chance to see artifacts from various time periods and civilizations in Greenland. After about 30 minutes at the museum, the tour continues through Kolonihavnen, where many of the original houses from the 17th and 18th centuries are still standing. Along the way, your clients will pass Hans Egede’s house, the Mother of the Sea sculpture, and the controversial Hans Egede statue at the Greenland Cathedral.
Next, the tour heads to Kalaaliaraq, the traditional market, where locally caught fish, seals, and reindeer are sold. The journey continues to Greenland’s government buildings and the Cultural Center Katuaq, where the tour ends. The area offers great shopping opportunities and many other exciting activities.
