FAQ
What is the best season to visit Sweden?
Winter (December to February): Best for Northern Lights tours, skiing, and ice skating across frozen lakes. The Polar Night in the Arctic Circle offers a unique twilight experience. How about sleeping in a bed made of ice and snow? This is the perfect season for that.
Spring (March to May): A wonderful time for city explorations. As the snow melts, the countryside is refreshed, and early blooms make city parks and gardens particularly attractive.
Summer (June to August): Ideal for enjoying Sweden’s natural beauty through activities like hiking in national parks, cycling along coastal paths, and kayaking in both inland lakes and the Baltic Sea. The Midnight Sun illuminates the northern parts, providing nearly 24 hours of daylight.
Autumn (September to November): Offers a quieter yet vibrant period for visiting. Autumn colours in the nature are perfect for hiking and photography. The Northern Lights begin to make their appearance again in late autumn.
