Western Iceland

Western Iceland is known for its diverse landscapes, including volcanic mountains and coastal villages. Húsafell, in Borgarfjörður, is famous for geothermal hot springs and access to Langjökull glacier and Hraunfossar waterfalls. Stykkishólmur, on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, offers a picturesque harbor and is close to Snæfellsjökull National Park. Both locations provide opportunities for outdoor activities like hiking, boat tours, and exploring natural beauty.
