Itinerary
23 December: Arrival in Rovaniemi
Upon arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, your clients will be transferred to the Arctic SnowHotel and Glass Igloos, about 40 minutes away. Nestled beside a frozen lake, the property offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Lappish wilderness. A welcome dinner will be served in the traditional Kota restaurant. Clients will spend the night in a snow room – carved anew each year, with snug sleeping bags to ensure a warm and restful sleep.
24 December: Santa Claus Village & Christmas Celebration
After breakfast in the Log restaurant, a transfer will take clients to the Santa Claus Village. A visit to Snowman World is included – a place for all ages to enjoy ice slides, skating, and an ice bar. Lunch will be served at Santamus restaurant, where open fires and indoor water features provide a magical backdrop. In the evening, a festive Christmas dinner will be served at the hotel’s Log restaurant, with the possibility of a visit from Santa himself. Overnight in a glass igloo.
25 December: Husky Safari & Optional Aurora Snowmobile Tour
Following breakfast, clients will enjoy a husky safari at a family-run kennel. Light snacks will be served during the visit. The afternoon is free for leisure or relaxation. Dinner is arranged in the Ice Restaurant – a three-course meal in a truly unique setting. In the evening, an optional excursion by electric snowmobile is available (supplement applies), offering a silent and eco-friendly way to explore the wilderness in search of the Northern Lights. Overnight in a glass igloo.
26 December: Snowshoeing & Traditional Sauna
After breakfast, a guided snowshoe hike departs from reception, allowing clients to explore the pristine winter landscape. Later in the day, a traditional sauna experience is included, featuring a wood-heated sauna, snow sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. Dinner is served in the Kota restaurant. Overnight in a glass igloo.
27 December: Departure
After breakfast, clients will be transferred to Rovaniemi Airport for their return journey.
