Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm

Arrival in Stockholm. At the airport a bus awaits to take the travellers to their centrally located hotel.

Day 2: Stockholm Highlights

During a city tour in the morning, your travellers see the most important sights and get a feeling for the different areas of Stockholm: hip Östermalm, Vasastan where author Astrid Lindgren spent most of her life, exclusive Östermalm, and the romantic alleyways of the Old Town. In the afternoon, continue with a visit to City Hall, where the annual Nobel Prize banquet is held. Round off the day with a typical Swedish “fika” with coffee in a cozy café.

Day 3: Djurgården

On this day the travellers explore two of the museums on the island of Djurgården together with a local guide. They start with the Vasa Museum, where everything revolves around the wooden war ship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 still in the Stockholm harbor basin and was raised from the water 333 years later. A short walk takes the group on to Skansen open-air museum, where they not only can admire the old traditional houses, but also get an insight into the Nordic fauna. The afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 4: Departure from Stockholm

Today it's time to say goodbye to Stockholm. A transfer takes the group to the airport, from where they begin their journey home.
