Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Rovaniemi
Upon arrival in Rovaniemi (own arrangements), check-in will take place at the Nova Skyland Hotel. Guests will stay in an Aurora Suite, designed for comfort and offering ideal viewing conditions for the night sky. A three-course dinner will be served at the hotel in the evening to mark the beginning of the stay.
Day 2: Husky Safari on Wheels
In the morning, a Husky Safari on Wheels will be experienced with Safartica. Travelling through the vibrant autumn landscape, guests will be guided by skilled mushers and pulled by a team of energetic huskies—a seasonal twist on the traditional sled ride. The remainder of the day will be free for leisure or optional activities.
Day 3: Aurora Borealis Picnic
Today is left at guests’ disposal for personal exploration or rest. In the evening, the Aurora Borealis Picnic will take place. A peaceful evening will be spent outdoors, with warm drinks served while waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. If conditions are right, the natural spectacle will unfold above in the clear Arctic skies.
Day 4: Aurora Hunting Photo Tour
The day may be spent at leisure. In the evening, a Guided Aurora Hunting Photo Tour will be arranged by bus. A local expert will lead the way to optimal viewing locations outside the city, offering photography tips and capturing professional shots of participants beneath the aurora when possible. Hot drinks and local treats will be served.
Day 5: Departure
Check-out will take place after breakfast. Departure according to individual travel arrangements.

It’s a peaceful, uncrowded season that offers excellent conditions for viewing the Northern Lights and enjoying nature’s quiet transformation.
