Itinerary
29 December
Clients will be met upon arrival at Rovaniemi Airport and transferred to Apukka Resort, just 15 minutes away. Once settled into their Aurora Cabin, they can begin to unwind in the peaceful, snowy landscape. Dinner is served at Restaurant Aitta. Overnight in an Aurora Cabin.
30 December
A hearty breakfast buffet is served in the main restaurant. Today, a husky excursion is included—covering a scenic 7–10 km route through snow-covered trails. After the ride, there will be time to meet the dogs and capture a few photos. The afternoon is free to enjoy the resort or join optional excursions. After dinner, clients will board the snow train for a three-hour Northern Lights excursion. The journey includes a stop for a bonfire, hot drinks, and stories under the Arctic sky. Overnight in an Aurora Cabin.
31 December
Breakfast is served at the resort. The day is at leisure with many optional excursions available, such as a visit to Santa Claus Village or a snowmobile safari through the surrounding forest. The evening culminates with a festive New Year’s Eve dinner in Restaurant Aitta, the perfect way to welcome the new year in Lapland. Overnight in an Aurora Cabin.
1 January
After breakfast, clients can spend the first day of the year at their own pace. Whether they wish to continue exploring or simply enjoy the serenity of the Arctic setting, the team at Apukka will be happy to assist with plans. Dinner and overnight in an Aurora Cabin.
2 January
Following breakfast, a transfer will take clients to Rovaniemi Airport for departure according to their travel arrangements.
