Itinerary

29 December
Your clients will be welcomed with a pre-arranged transfer from Rovaniemi Airport or the train station to Hotel Metsähirvas. The scenic drive sets the tone for the days ahead, as snow-covered forests and frozen rivers unfold. Upon arrival, a welcome drink is served before clients settle into the cosy surroundings. Dinner is included this evening. Overnight at Hotel Metsähirvas.

30 December
After breakfast, a full day of winter fun awaits. A combo excursion featuring both snowmobiling and a husky safari is included. Lunch will be served during the day’s activities, and winter clothing is provided to ensure comfort outdoors. In the evening, clients can choose to add a Northern Lights excursion by car (optional, supplement applies). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

31 December
Breakfast is served before a full-day visit to Santa Claus Village. Entrance to Snowman World is included—where clients can ice skate, slide, and explore ice-built structures. This festive day is perfect for families or the young at heart. A 1.5-hour session at the barrel sauna and ice swimming experience is also included (slots can be booked for today or tomorrow). In the evening, a festive New Year’s Eve dinner is served, complete with a glass of sparkling wine to ring in 2026. Overnight at Hotel Metsähirvas.

1 January
The first day of the year begins with breakfast. This day is at leisure, allowing clients to relax or add excursions such as ice fishing, cross-country skiing, or a cultural visit to Arktikum. The second opportunity to enjoy the sauna and ice swimming is available today. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

2 January
After breakfast, a transfer will take clients back to Rovaniemi Airport or train station in time for their onward journey.
