Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Copenhagen
Arrival in Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital city. Accommodation is arranged in a centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the city or unwind after travel. Overnight stay in Copenhagen.
Day 2: Copenhagen
Day at leisure in Copenhagen. The city is ideal for self-guided exploration, or a guided city tour can be arranged. Suggested highlights include Nyhavn, the Royal Palace, and the city’s many parks, museums and waterfront areas. Overnight stay in Copenhagen.
Day 3: Copenhagen to Faroe Islands
After breakfast, make your way independently to Copenhagen Airport for the flight to the Faroe Islands. Upon arrival, a transfer is arranged to the accommodation in the capital, Tórshavn. Overnight stay in Tórshavn.
Day 4: Tórshavn
Breakfast is served at the hotel. The day is free to explore Tórshavn at leisure. Optional activities include a one-hour guided walking tour through the historic streets of the capital. Overnight stay in Tórshavn.
Day 5: Faroe Islands
A full day at leisure to relax or explore the Faroe Islands further. Seasonal optional excursions and activities, such as hiking or local boat tours, may be arranged depending on availability. Overnight stay in Tórshavn.
Day 6: Faroe Islands to Iceland
After breakfast, a transfer is provided to the airport for the flight to Iceland. Upon arrival in Reykjavik, independent transfer to the hotel is required. The rest of the day is at leisure in Iceland’s capital. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.
Day 7: Reykjavik to Vik
Breakfast is served at the hotel. The morning is free to explore Reykjavik or to join an optional whale watching tour. Later in the day, travel south to the town of Vik for an overnight stay. Overnight stay in Vik.
Day 8: Vik to Öraefi
After breakfast, the journey continues along Iceland’s scenic South Coast. A visit to the Katla Ice Cave can be arranged (optional) before continuing to Öraefi. Overnight stay in Öraefi.
Day 9: Öraefi
Day at leisure to enjoy the surrounding nature. Optional activities include glacier hikes, sightseeing excursions, or simply relaxing in the peaceful landscape. Overnight stay in Öraefi.
Day 10: Return to Reykjavik
Travel back to Reykjavik along the coast, with opportunities to stop at waterfalls and scenic viewpoints. Accommodation is arranged in the capital for the final night. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.
Day 11: Departure from Reykjavik
Breakfast is served at the hotel. Depending on flight times, some additional sightseeing or shopping may be possible before making your own way to the airport for departure.
